Lena slips through the fence every morning for her "cut up pears"-she is so tiny she can get through the fence. She is adorable we love her and everyone who meets her does also.

Gayl, I placed a mail order with you yesterday (snail mail) and I should have mentioned a praise for your lye soap. I've used it in my bathroom to stop the influx of those tiny ants that invade each spring. I washed my counter top and stool and around the baseboard with the lye soap, smeared soap on the side of the counter where they climb up, and left a bar beside the lavoratory. This morning, no ants!! Everything else had failed. So, thanks.

I originally bought some of your soap at a fair somewhere a few years ago. I have been using your soaps ever since! I want you to know how much I enjoy them! A couple of years ago I sent some to my 83 year old mother for Christmas. I orginally sent her a sample package and her favorite was the olive oil soap. She said it has been so soothing on her aging skin. Since then, that is what she has wanted me to send her for her birthday and Christmas every year! Thank you for making such a fine product!

Grandma Niemeyer cookies

1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups corn flakes
1 cup toasted pecans
1 cup coconut
cream butter and sugars
add eggs mix well
add all other ingredients in order listed above
drop by spoon full (make small as they spread out) on greased cookie sheet
bake at 350 about 10 minutes or until lightly browned on bottom
cool on paper towels or racks --put into sealed containers
they freeze well
